The National Osteoporosis Society is the only UK wide charity dedicated to improving the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The charity was established in 1986 and has since grown into a well respected national charity with approximately 25,000 members and over 50 members of staff.
The Falls and Fractures Alliance has amongst its members a number of top nationwide charities, including AgeUK, The Royal College of Physicians, The Royal College of Nursing, The Society for Endocrinology, The College of Occupational Therapists, The Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Royal Geriatric Society, to name but a few.
BANT is honoured to have been chosen to join the Alliance and looks forward to many years of professional collaboration with the National Osteoporosis Society and the rest of the member charity organisations.
